I’ve been in the film industry for 15 years, and was introduced to it by my father Kim Jarrett who is a highly regarded Production Designer. I fell in love with all things film and quickly began working my way up the ranks to where I am today.
I have experience in most areas of Art Department, in some capacity. Initially I wrangled animals onset, then made my way through 7 years of set building, dressing and painting, props buying, and special effects.
My focus for the last three years has been running a large set decorating crew on major feature films for Dan Birt.
What I love most about what I do, is that no two days are the same, I have become a professional trouble shooter and problem solver and I like to think I can make the unachievable, achievable.
I have seen the opportunity for my skills able to transfer into events, by accident really, when I saw a huge need for specialist building and dressing when it came to events. Because of the access I have to some of the most talented production designers, concept artists, props buyers, scenic artists, set decorators, set builders, model makers, and greensmen the industry has to offer, my offering has become a world class events crew who are used to working under intense time and budget constraints.
I’m now working very closely with Cutting Innovations that have new latest technology robot 3D routers that can create anything you can dream of!
